This is a soft, billowy loaf, made with white flour and a generous helping of poppy seeds and millet running through the dough- deliciously soft and airy as bread, but also superb toasted.
I find it hard to make a white bread without the desire to add  nutritional extras – millet and poppy seeds complement each other well, look and taste great and are packed with goodness!

Millet has been referred to as one of the world’s healthiest foods and has been cultivated for many thousands of years. It is an excellent source of protein and fibre and packed with essential minerals and B vitamins.

Poppy seeds are an oil seed and along with healthy monounsaturated fats contain good levels of minerals like iron, copper, calcium, potassium, manganese, zinc and magnesium. They add a lovely tiny crunch to the soft dough.
